How we handle the details you send us. Short version: we collect what we need to quote and make your job, we keep it to ourselves, and you can ask to see it or have it removed.
What we collect
What you type in
Our enquiry form asks for your name and email, and optionally a phone number and what you need. If you describe a job, that can include measurements or a photo.
What you send us
If you email, call or message us, we keep that correspondence the way any workshop keeps a job file.
What we do not collect
This site runs no analytics and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. There is no third-party script watching what you read.
Why we need it
To quote your job
We need to be able to answer you. That is usually the whole reason.
To make and deliver it
Measurements are what we cut to. An address is where the finished work goes.
To keep our own records
Invoices and job history, as the law requires and as any business keeps them.
What we will not do
- We will not sell your details, or trade them, or hand them to anyone outside our business.
- We will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
- We will not upload your details to a third-party sales or marketing platform.
When we use an outside service to run part of the business — a courier, for example — it only receives what it needs to do that one job, and only so the job can be done.
Getting in touch about your details
You can ask us to do any of these, and we will sort it out:
- Ask us what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete what we are not required to keep.
- Complain, if you think we have handled it badly.
